Spirit-free Sips for 2025

Following the decadence of the holidays, people often like to reset with the new year and sometimes that involves abstaining from alcohol for at least a month. Dry January doesn’t mean that you have to settle for boring, uninspired beverages. Here are seven sophisticated spirit-free drinks we like for this new year.

Free Bird

Course Drinks
Keyword Amaro Lucano NA, cherry juice, cranberry, lime, Passion fruit, pineapple, Simple syrup

Ingredients

  • 1 oz. Amaro Lucano NA
  • 1 ½ oz. Pineapple juice
  • ¾ oz. Cranberry juice
  • ½ oz. Passion fruit juice
  • ½ oz. Lime juice
  • oz. Cherry juice
  • ½ oz. Simple syrup

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice and shake.
  • Strain into a highball glass with fresh ice.
  • Garnish with 2 mint sprigs and slice of dehydrated lemon.

  • Club soda

Instructions

  • Pour all ingredients into a shaker.
  • Add ice, and shake hard.
  • Strain into Collins glass.
  • Garnish with a mint leaf.

Ingredients

  • Handful of fresh raspberries
  • 1 ½ oz. Non-alcoholic gin
  • 1 oz. Fresh lime juice
  • ½ oz. Simple syrup
  • Ginger beer to top off

Instructions

  • In a cocktail shaker, add a handful of fresh raspberries.
  • Use a muddler or the back of a spoon to gently mash the raspberries, releasing their juices.
  • Pour in the non-alcoholic gin, lime juice, and simple syrup.
  • Fill the shaker with ice and shake.
  • Strain the mixture into a glass filled with ice.
  • Top with ginger beer and stir.

  • Lime wedge

Instructions

  • Combine tea, pineapple, syrup and lime juice.
  • Shake well and strain into a highball glass.
  • Top grapefruit soda and stir.
  • Garnish with a lime wedge.
