8 Cocktails for the Fourth of July 2022

The Fourth of July is almost upon us, and we are here to celebrate our independence with a cocktail or two. There’s nothing like a red, white or blue beverage to kick off patriotic festivities; here are eight drink recipes that we like for 2022. Rocket Pop Cocktail

Course Drinks
Keyword Blue Curaçao, coconut water, Grenadine, lime, peanut butter whiskey

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ oz. Skrewball peanut butter whiskey
  • ½ oz. Lime juice
  • 1 oz. Coconut water
  • ½ oz. Blue Curaçao
  • ½ Grenadine

Instructions

  • Shake whiskey, lime juice and coconut water with ice.
  • Pour Blue Curaçao into a Collins glass, then add crushed ice to shaken cocktail .
  • Top with grenadine.
  • Garnish with a popsicle stick.

Hibiscus Collins

Course Drinks
Keyword gin, hibiscus syrup

Ingredients

  • 2 parts Hendrick’s Gin
  • ¾ parts Hibiscus syrup
  • 3/4 parts Lemon juice
  • Top with soda water

Instructions

  • Combine ingredients in a highball glass filled with cubed ice.
  • Top with soda water and lightly stir.
  • Garnish with a mint sprig and lemon twist.

The Blue Wave

Course Drinks
Keyword blanco tequila, Blue Curaçao, Champagne, coconut cream

Ingredients

  • 2 oz. El Bandido Yankee Blanco tequila
  • ¼ oz. Real coconut cream Coco Lopez or otherwise
  • ¼ oz. Blue Curaçao
  • Top with Champagne

Instructions

  • Combine ingredients in a shaker with ice.
  • Shake and strain into Martini glass.
  • Top with Champagne.

Coconut Compote Cocktail

Course Drinks
Keyword blackberry, blanco tequila, Coco Lopez coconut cream, lemon

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ oz. Santo Blanco tequila
  • ¾ oz. Fresh lemon juice
  • ½ oz. Coco Lopez
  • ¼ oz. Blackberry compote

Instructions

  • Combine ingredients in a shaker with ice and shake.
  • Strain into a rocks glass.
  • Garnish with a blackberry.

Ruby Red

Course Drinks
Keyword 1800 Añjeo tequila, Hibiscus tea syrup, lime

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ oz. 1800 Cristalino tequila
  • ¾ oz. Triple Sec
  • ¾ oz. Lime juice
  • 2 oz. Hibiscus tea
  • Club soda to top

Instructions

  • Combine ingredients except the club soda to a cocktail shaker with ice.
  • Shake vigorously.
  • Strain into a highball glass with a salted sugar rim and ice.
  • Top with club soda.
  • Garnish with a lime wedge.

Oaxacan Fireworks

Course Drinks
Keyword Blue Curaçao, lime, mezcal

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ oz. Recuerdo Mezcal Joven
  • 1 oz. Blue Curaçao
  • ½ oz. Lime juice
  • ¼ oz. Simple syrup
  • 1 Maraschino cherry

Instructions

  • Mix all ingredients in a shaker filled with ice.
  • Shake and our into Martini glass.
  • Garnish with the maraschino cherry.

Northern Lights

Course Drinks
Keyword butterfly pea syrup, lemon, vodka

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ oz. Vodka
  • 1 oz. Butterfly pea syrup
  • ½ oz. Lemon juice
  • ¼ oz. Simple syrup

Instructions

  • Fill a Collins glass with ice and butterfly pea syrup.
  • Combine ingredients in a shaker with ice.
  • Shake and strain into glass.
  • Garnish with colored sugar and straw.

American Salute Martini

Course Drinks
Keyword Blue Curaçao, Grenadine, lemonade, vodka

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ oz. American Harvest organic vodka
  • 4 oz. Lemonade
  • 1 oz. Blue Curaçao
  • 1 oz. Grenadine

Instructions

  • Rim a Martini glass with red, white and blue sugar.
  • Pour grenadine in the bottom of a Martini glass.
  • Combine lemonade and vodka in a shaker.
  • Shake then gently strain over the grenadine
  • Float the Blue Curaçao on top.
