Autumn is nearly here, and the cooler weather always makes us yearn for slightly heartier drinks that incorporate seasonal flavors. Here are five recipes we like for this year.
Heirloom Garden
Ingredients
- 1 oz. Sundried tomato-infused Bombay London Dry Gin
- ¼ oz. Celery bitter
- ¼ oz. Roasted chicory maraschino
- ½ oz. Sweet vermouth
- ½ oz. Campari
Instructions
- Combine ingredients and stir.
- Strain into glass over large rock.
- Garnish with dehydrated heirloom tomato, nasturtium leaf/nasturtium flower and bergamot spray.

Calvados Spritz
Ingredients
- 1 ½ oz. Coquerel Calvados
- ¾ oz. Giffard apricot liqueur
- ¼ oz. Lemon juice
- Top with cider such as Patois “Morris”
Instructions
- Build in shaker everything except for the cider.
- Shake and strain into a wine glass over ice.
- Top with cider.
- Garnish with dried apple slice.

Poppy Dunn
Ingredients
- 1 oz. Hendrick’s Grand Cabaret gin
- 1 oz. Crème de violette
- 1 oz. Averell Plum Damson gin liqueur
- 1 oz. Lemon juice
- Blackberries
- Egg white
Instructions
- Combine ingredients and dry shake.
- Add ice and shake again.
- Pour into glass Collins glass.
- Garnish with blackberries on a pick.

Fig & Rosemary Smash
Ingredients
- 2 oz. Good Trouble bourbon
- 2 Fresh figs muddled
- ½ oz. Honey syrup 1:1 ratio of honey and water
- ½ oz. Fresh lime juice
- Fresh rosemary sprig
Instructions
- In a shaker, muddle fresh figs.
- Add bourbon, honey syrup and lime juice.
- Shake well and strain into a rocks glass filled with ice.
- Garnish with a fresh rosemary sprig.

Spiced Apple Margarita
Ingredients
- 2 oz. Lalo tequila
- 1 ½ oz. Apple cider
- ¾ oz. Lime juice
- ¾ oz. Agave
- Dash ground cinnamon
- Salt rim: mix turbinado sugar salt, cinnamon
Instructions
- Combine tequila, apple cider, lime juice, agave nectar and cinnamon in an ice-
- filled shaker tin.
- Shake to chill and dilute.
- Strain into ice-filled rocks glass, rimmed with the sugar/salt/cinnamon mixture. Garnish with apple slices, cinnamon stick and star anise.
