Mother’s Day Drinks For 2024

Mother’s Day is May 12, this year, so be ready for the brunch and dinner crowd with some festive, Mom-approved cocktails. Here are five recipes that are fairly simple to execute but will make a big impact. For more, check out the Mother’s Day drinks roundup from 2023.

Pampl’ Up

Course Drinks
Keyword citrus, Cointreau, grapefruit soda, lemon

Ingredients

  • ½ oz. Citrus syrup
  • ¾ oz. Cointreau
  • ½ oz. Lemon juice
  • 1 ¼ oz. Three Cents grapefruit soda

Instructions

  • Combine ingredients except soda in shaker.
  • Add ice and shake until well chilled.
  • Strain into a cocktail glass.
  • Top with grapefruit soda.
  • Garnish with lemon peel twist.

Tough as a Mother

Course Drinks
Keyword Champagne, gin, lime

Ingredients

  • 1 oz. Rose petal-infused gin*
  • ¾ oz. The Perfect Purée El Corazon blend thawed
  • ¼ oz. Lime juice
  • 4 drops Orange blossom water
  • Champagne

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients except Champagne to a shaker.
  • Shake with ice and strain into a flute.
  • Top with Champagne.
  • Garnish with a twisted lime peel.

Notes

*For Rose petal-infused gin
Infuse one bottle of gin with 3 tablespoons of food grade dried rose petals overnight. Strain the next day.

Kalimera

Course Drinks
Keyword orange juice, Peach nectar, sparkling rosé, thyme

Ingredients

  • 1 oz. Orange juice
  • 1 oz. Peach nectar
  • 4 oz. Sparkling rosé
  • 1 Thyme sprig

Instructions

  • Fill a wine glass with ice.
  • Add juice, nectar and sparkling rosé.
  • Gently stir.
  • Garnish with thyme sprig.

Theodora

Course Drinks
Keyword gin, Lavender honey, lemon juice, rose water

Ingredients

  • 2 oz. Empress 1908 Indigo gin
  • ¾ oz. Fresh lemon juice
  • ¾ oz. Lavender honey syrup
  • ¼ oz. Rose water

Instructions

  • Rinse a chilled coupe glass with rose water.
  • Add the gin, lemon and syrup in a cocktail shaker with ice.
  • Shake vigorously and strain into the coupe.
  • Garnish with a sprig of lavender or edible flower.

Hot Mama Jamma

Course Drinks
Keyword gin, ginger beer, lime, strawberry jam

Ingredients

  • 2 oz. New Riff Kentucky Wild Gin
  • ¾ oz. Lime juice
  • 1 heaping tbsp. Strawberry jalapeno jam or regular strawberry jam
  • 4 oz. Q hibiscus ginger beer

Instructions

  • Add ingredients except ginger beer to a shaker.
  • Shake well and strain into a Collins glass.
  • Top with ginger beer.
  • Garnish with a lime wheel.
