Tequila Corralejo will introduce its Reposado tequila in a 375-ml. bottle beginning in August, expanding the expression beyond its existing 750-ml. and 1.75-L formats.
The company launches the smaller format ahead of Hispanic Heritage Month and Mexican Independence Day, as consumer demand for smaller bottle sizes continues to shape the spirits market. The 375-ml. format targets occasions including gatherings, gifting and cocktails.
“As the demand for smaller formats continues to grow, we wanted to offer consumers a flexible and accessible way to experience the quality and craftsmanship that defines our Reposado, our most popular expression,” said Susan Gibbons, Vice President of Marketing, Infinium Spirits.
Tequila Corralejo makes its reposado from 100% estate-grown Blue Weber agave and ages the tequila for four months in American oak and French Limousin oak. The company lists vanilla, honey, spice and oak aromas, followed by lemon-lime, peppercorn and agave notes.
Hacienda Corralejo in Guanajuato, Mexico produces and bottles the tequila. The 375-ml. format uses glass made at the hacienda and labeling consistent with the brand’s other packaging.
Tequila Corralejo Reposado 375-ml has an ABV of 40%. The bottle rolls out in August at a suggested retail price of $17.99 to $18.99, depending on the market.
