This coconut rum-based hot drink gets its color from butterfly pea tea.
Cloud 9 Latte
Ingredients
- 2 oz. Kōloa Kaua’i coconut rum
- 2-3 tbs. White chocolate flavored powder white coco
- 8 oz. Steamed unsweetened coconut or whole milk
- ½ tsp. Butterfly pea tea powder
Instructions
- Heat ½ of the milk on medium until steaming.
- Stir in sifted butterfly pea powder, white chocolate powder and coconut rum.
- Pour into glass mug.
- Steam the rest of the milk and froth.
- Pour the white frothy milk over the portion already in the glass to create a white layer on top.
- Garnish with butterfly pea powder.
