Overview
The Director of Operational Effectiveness is responsible for providing leadership for facilities, inventory control and warehouse management systems at Horizon Beverage.
Primary Responsibilities
- Coordinate, manage and monitor the workings of various departments in the organization
- Review financial statements and data and utilize data to improve profitability
- Prepare, control and manage operational budgets
- Control total inventory management by ensuring the compliance of receiving and inventory control procedures; Develop/recommend alterations to procedures and best practices as warranted
- Working knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean Methodologies and strong root cause analytical abilities
- Improve processes and policies in support of organizational goals
- Formulate and implement departmental and organizational policies and procedures to maximize output
- Monitor adherence to rules, regulations and procedures
- Coordinate and monitor the work of various departments involved in production, warehousing and distribution of goods
- Monitor warehouse performance and implement improvements
- Manage the quality and quantity of employee productivity
- Lead all building projects (i.e. warehouse systems, building/conveyor improvements)
- Provide MHE technical support and provide recommendations to maximize efficiencies
- Manage the maintenance of equipment and machinery
- Ensure safety compliance of all team members
- Monitor, manage and improve the efficiency of support services
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 7 years of experience or equivalent education and related experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organization, multi-tasking and time management skills
- Experience with various ERP, CMMS, software systems
- Experience in wholesale or operational management or other related industries
- Demonstrated knowledge of SAP system or similar system
