This Cognac cocktail gets its red hue and summery feel from Strawberry syrup.
Midsummer Magic
Ingredients
- 1 ½ oz. Cognac VS
- ¾ oz. Pineau des Charentes rouge
- ½ oz. Strawberry syrup*
- ¾ oz. Fresh lemon juice
- Half white of an egg
- Spray of absinthe
Instructions
- Add all ingredients but the absinthe to a cocktail shaker.
- Add ice, shake, and strain into a cocktail glass.
- Spray absinthe on top and garnish with a strawberry.
