To help get guests into the holiday spirit, Omni Hotels & Resorts is offering “12 Drinks of Christmas,” a menu featuring 11 inventive cocktails and one sparkling wine or Champagne. Highlights include:
- Partridge in a Pear Tree: a hot mulled pinot noir with spiced pear puree, a variety of warm spices and citrus, and topped with a swizzle stick for a touch of sweetness.
- Four Calling Birds: an indulgent eggnog recipe made with Omni’s own Figgy Pudding Puree, spiced rum and Kahlua, and adorned with a vibrant feather
- Eight Maids A-Milking: vodka, Irish cream liqueur and house-made cereal milk served in a milk bottle and garnished with eggnog whipped cream
- Five Golden Rings: a bourbon cocktail mixed with ginger liqueur and ringed with gold sugar containing real gold flakes
The Dallas-based luxury hotel brand will offer the 12 Drinks of Christmas from Nov. 17 to Dec. 31 at 43 properties nationwide. Cocktail prices average $12. Here’s the full recipe for one of the cocktails.
Nine Ladies Dancing
1 oz. The Botanist gin
½ oz. St. Germain elderflower liqueur
1 oz. Omni spiced cranberry puree
1 Lemon wedge, squeezed
1 oz. Chandon Rosé sparkling wine
Shake ingredients together with ice, leaving out the wine. Strain into a flute glass, then add the rosé. Garnish with dried cranberries.
