Deep Eddy Vodka has launched Deep Eddy Espresso nationwide after a limited release in the Austin market sold out following its debut in November.
The new product marks the brand’s first non-fruit line extension since it introduced Deep Eddy Sweet Tea in 2010. The company said the rollout responds to continued consumer demand for espresso martinis by offering a bottled cocktail base designed for quick preparation.
“Deep Eddy has always believed the best moments happen effortlessly—and great cocktails shouldn’t be complicated,” said Julie Cole, Brand Director. “With Deep Eddy Espresso, we created the perfect espresso martini in a bottle. It lets people enjoy one of today’s most popular cocktails whenever the moment calls for it – day or night!”
Deep Eddy Espresso combines real espresso with the brand’s 10-times distilled, 80-proof vodka. The product features roasted espresso flavors with notes of vanilla and caramel and can be served by shaking and pouring directly into a glass, according to its producer.
Consumers can also use the product in espresso martinis, serve it chilled as a shot or incorporate it into coffee-based cocktails.
The vodka is naturally gluten free. The company also said Deep Eddy Espresso contains fewer calories than many traditional coffee cocktails.
