Quintessential Adds Three Chilean Wines to U.S. Portfolio

Quintessential has been named the exclusive U.S. importer, distributor and marketer for Viñedo Chadwick, Seña and Rocas de Seña, three wines from Viñedos Familia Chadwick.

The wines gained international attention following the 2004 Berlin Tasting, where Viñedo Chadwick 2000 placed first and Seña 2001 placed second in a blind tasting against Bordeaux First Growths and Super Tuscans.

The partnership adds the three Chilean wines to Quintessential’s U.S. portfolio. Viñedo Chadwick comes from a vineyard in Puente Alto in Chile’s Maipo Valley. Seña was founded in 1995 by Robert Mondavi and Eduardo Chadwick as a joint venture and is produced from a 42-hectare vineyard in Chile’s Aconcagua Valley. Rocas de Seña, first produced in 2020, is also made in the Aconcagua Valley and combines Bordeaux and Rhône varieties.

“These wines embody what we look for in our winery partners: a remarkable family story, groundbreaking vision and wines that authentically express their place of origin,” said Dennis Kreps, co-owner of Quintessential. “We are proud to partner with the Chadwick family and bring these exceptional fine wines to our customers nationwide.”

The three wines enter Quintessential’s national distribution network this month.

“Quintessential shares our family’s commitment to quality, long-term relationships and the importance of communicating the unique character of our wines,” said Eduardo Chadwick, owner of Viñedos Familia Chadwick. “We are delighted to begin this new partnership and introduce the next chapter of our family’s wines to fine wine lovers across the United States.”
