CANNRA Board Members must be current government regulators from a CANNRA-member jurisdiction. They serve a one-year term and are elected by designated Voting Members from each member state or jurisdiction, according to the organization.
“I am honored to have been selected by my peers to serve as CANNRA’s next President,” said Berry in a news release. “As jurisdictions spanning the globe continue to shape the future of cannabis and hemp regulation, I’m proud to represent Oklahoma and to help guide the incredible collective expertise at CANNRA to further knowledge and exchange about cannabinoid regulation at this pivotal time.”
“I am looking forward to working with the 2025-2026 board to further our mission to convene, educate, and support government agencies involved in cannabis, cannabinoid, and hemp regulation,” added Dr. Gillian Schauer, executive director of CANNRA. “Our board represents regulators overseeing regulatory programs with a range of policies for cannabis and hemp. They will be well positioned to help CANNRA bring regulators and stakeholders together for essential conversations in this dynamic environment.”
