Patrón Tequila has added a new spirit to their Citrónge line: Patrón Citrónge Pineapple.
This new product hits shelves this month.
Patrón Citrónge Pineapple is a premium liqueur crafted from “Piña Miel” pineapples cultivated in the Mexican state of Veracruz.
“Consumer preference for pineapple is gaining resurgence and to meet this demand, Patrón has introduced Patrón Citrónge Pineapple,” the company says. “Trend studies have shown pineapple is gaining more traction with consumers due to the resurgence of the tiki aesthetic and its absorption into the wider cocktail culture.”
Patrón Citrónge Pineapple Liqueur is clear with a tropical aroma and flavor, the company says, balanced between sweet and tart. With notes of fresh, ripe pineapple, the taste is soft and sweet with a light aftertaste
The suggested retail price is $22.99 per 750-ml. bottle.
