Mac Brands Beverage has announced the launch of VDKLYTE, a ready-to-drink vodka refresher featuring familiar sports-drink-inspired flavors. Launching across 12 states through distributor Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits, VDKLYTE is a zero-sugar, gluten-free, non-carbonated option for adult consumers who are looking for a lighter, sessionable option.
Positioned for the “actively social” 21+ consumer, VDKLYTE features 4.5% alcohol by volume, 100 calories per 12-oz. can, zero sugar and a gluten-free formulation. The lineup includes Fruit Punch, Grape, Lime, Orange and Berry Blue, with an eight-pack variety pack anchoring the launch and single-flavor four-packs offering additional choice. The phased rollout will begin this year and continue through the first quarter of 2027.
Mac Brands also includes Maniball Peanut Butter Tequila, launched earlier this year. The company has also built the largest portfolio of hemp-derived THC beverages, spanning three popular brands: Pamos THC Spirits and Cocktails, Buddi THC Spirits and Seltzers, and Lolli THC Soda.
Southern Glazer’s will distribute VDKLYTE in Texas, Oklahoma, Florida, Louisiana, South Carolina, California, Nevada, Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, Illinois and Colorado. Mac Brands has secured opening-order commitments from major retailers across the launch footprint, with Southern Glazer’s chain teams supporting retail execution and account development.
