Bird Dog Whiskey has launched a new offering: Bird Dog Select Reserve Straight Bourbon Whiskey.
This comes bottled at 86 proof, meant to make the whiskey work for sipping or as an ingredient in cocktails.
The nose opens with caramel and roasted almonds, according to the company, while the palate brings toffee, warm brown sugar and a hint of walnut.
Made in Kentucky, Bird Dog Select Reserve is available across most U.S. markets and can be ordered online for the suggested retail price of $22.99 per 750-ml. bottle.
