House of Suntory Releases Hibiki Japanese Harmony 2026

The House of Suntory has released the Hibiki Japanese Harmony 2026 Limited-Edition, Chiso Collaboration, a new version of its Japanese whisky created with Kyoto kimono house Chiso.

The release features Hibiki Japanese Harmony in the brand’s 24-faceted bottle, meant to represent Japan’s 24 traditional micro-seasons. Chiso designed the bottle with floral motifs based on tachibana, kiri, sakura, ume and tsubaki.

Chiso, founded in Kyoto in 1555, has preserved the Kyo-Yuzen hand-dyeing technique used in kimono production. The collaboration aims to bring that design approach to the Hibiki bottle.

The release follows Hibiki collaborations with Japanese artists Eriko Horiki and Hiroshi Senju. The partnership with Chiso also includes a behind-the-scenes film and a Chiso kimono installation planned for New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport Terminal 1 later this year.

Hibiki Japanese Harmony comes bottled at 43% ABV. The whisky has notes of honey-like sweetness, candied orange peel and white chocolate on the nose, according to the company, followed by rose, lychee, rosemary, mature wood and sandalwood on the palate. The finish includes Mizunara Japanese oak.

The limited edition has suggested retail price ranging from $135 to $150 in the U.S., depending on the market.
