Old Overholt has announced the 2026 edition of Old Overholt Extra Aged Cask Strength 11-Year American Rye.
The new expression marks the fourth annual release in the Extra Aged Cask Strength series.
Old Overholt distilled and barreled the whiskey in spring 2014 before aging it for 11 years in three warehouses in Clermont, KY.
The whiskey is bottled at cask strength, non-chill filtered and carries a proof of 125.6. It ships in limited quantities.
According to the company, the 2026 Edition features Old Overholt’s Kentucky-style rye whiskey with notes of rye spice, vanilla, caramel and charred oak. The company lists the following additional tasting notes:
- Aroma: Vanilla, baking spice and hints of tobacco
- Taste: Allspice, vanilla, caramel and charred oak
- Finish: Lingering notes of black pepper
Old Overholt Extra Aged Cask Strength 11-Year 2026 Edition has a suggested retail price of $109.99 for a 750-ml. bottle.
