American Maritime Distillery SoNo 1420 is celebrating its 6-Year Anniversary with the launch of the company’s first THC beverage, HZE, affectionately known as “Haze.” A riff on its best-selling Strawberry Lemonade Haze ready-to-drink vodka cocktail, HZE Strawberry Lemonade is the first of several flavors the distillery plans on introducing into the market.
HZE is microdosed with 3 mg of hemp-derived THC formulated with nano-technology, according to the distillery. It’s made with 100% real fruit juices and is fortified with prebiotic agave inulin and organic apple cider vinegar. Gluten-free, vegan and GMO-free, each 12-oz can is lightly carbonated and contains 30 calories and 5 grams of sugar.
Handmade in Connecticut, HZE is crafted in SoNo 1420’s FDA-certified facility. All flavors are developed in-house, according to the distillery, with the potency and purity of each batch tested by an independent lab.
“With HZE, we’re flipping the script on what a ‘good time’ looks like – no booze, no bloat, just pure, feel-good flavor with a microdose of chill. It’s everything you want from a night out (or in), minus the hangover. We’re pumped to bring this game-changer to Connecticut,” said Ted Dumbauld, founder of SoNo 1420, in a news release.
