Strongbow Hard Ciders this summer will bring back its Original Dry cider
The decision was based on popular demand: more than 100,000 consumers in 160,000 social media mentions asked for the flavor after it was discontinued, the company says.
Strongbow Original Dry Hard Cider is a dry style made with a mixture of bittersweet and culinary apples for a crisp, less sweet taste, the company says. Like all Strongbow products, Original Dry contains no artificial flavors or colors.
Strongbow Original Dry Hard Cider is 5% ABV, and will be available nationally starting in June 2018 in 16.9-oz. single serve cans and 4-packs.
The launch will be supported by a full visibility program with new and impactful POS elements. A 360-degree marketing plan will build awareness through highly targeted digital, social, and PR engagement, the company says, focused specifically around Strongbow fans.
