Continuing the Johnnie Walker Blue Label Lunar New Year pack series, the company has launched Johnnie Walker Blue Label 2016: Year of the Monkey.
This commemorative bottle is available now, in limited release, at retailers across the country. The suggested retail price is $258 per 750-ml. bottle.
The third in this line of annual limited editions, this bottle is inspired by the culture of the Chinese Zodiac. The sign of the Zodiac Monkey represents “an explorer who shows that a fearless heart and agile tenacity can win the crown,” the company said, adding that this is an embodiment of the spirit of Johnnie Walker. On the bottle, white glaze with blue ink renders the elegance of Chinese blue and white porcelain, the company says.
The whiskey is 43% ABV.
