Sauza Tequila is unveiling its first flavored tequila innovation, Sauza Cucumber Chili Tequila. It combines Sauza Silver Tequila combines with a natural cucumber flavor and a chili twist for a premium, slightly spicy tequila, the company says.
Sauza Cucumber Chili is a 70-proof flavored tequila, with a cucumber taste and chili finish. It can be enjoyed chilled, on the rocks, or in mixed cocktails, and is now available nationwide for a suggested retail price of $15.99 per 750-ml bottle.
Cucumber Chili Rita
2 parts Sauza Cucumber Chili Tequila
1 part DeKuyper Triple Sec Liqueur
2 parts fresh lemon sour
Juice of one whole lime
Add ingredients to an ice-filled shaker. Shake and strain over ice in a salt-rimmed cocktail or margarita glass. Garnish with a lime and float a thin slice of cucumber.
