Chandon Launches RTD Spritz Collection

Chandon, the LVMH global sparkling house founded in 1959, has introduced a new ready-to-serve Spritz collection.

This trio was designed for “modern, everyday hosting and festive ‘day cap’ occasions,” according to the company.

Joining the Chandon Spritz Orange, these bottlings include: Chandon Spritz Berries and Chandon Spritz Lemon.

The new releases are each 6% ABV, marking the brand’s lowest alcohol offerings to date, crafted with lower-sugar Muscat grapes to avoid the need for dealcoholizing.

“For our two new spritz recipes, we’ve introduced Muscat grapes, which are naturally low in sugar, and a hybrid fermentation process,” says Pauline Lhote, Winemaking Director, Chandon California. “There’s no need to use de-alcoholization in our process: we simply seal our tanks – where the bubbles are made – and stop fermentation when the alcohol hits 6%. Chandon Spritz Orange, whose sparkling-wine base is crafted using our long-standing tank fermentation method, comes in at 11.5% ABV.”

To serve, simply pour over ice and garnish.

The Chandon Spritz Collection will be available beginning March 30, for the suggested retail price of $21.99 per bottle on ReserveBar.com, and at select retailers in California, Florida, Illinois, New York, North Carolina and Texas.
