High West Distillery Bourye is set to roll out with its 2026 bottling.
This annual release is a blend of bourbon and rye whiskeys.
The 2026 iteration is 101 proof. Aromas include candied lemon, apricot jam on shortbread, caramel macaron, pfeffernüsse spice cookies, toasted cinnamon stick and dried ginger, according to the distillery. The palate brings grilled peaches, orange blossom, soft molasses biscuit, brown sugar bacon, black licorice, sarsaparilla, lavender and warm brown leather.
The 2026 mash bill is as follows: Straight Bourbon Whiskey: 75% corn, 21% rye, 4% barley malt from MGP; 60% corn, 36% rye, 4% malted barley from MGP; Straight Rye Whiskey: 95% rye, 5% barley malt from MGP; 80% rye, 20% malted rye from HWD
“The 2026 Bourye release features an elevated ABV which highlights the elegance and complexity of its 10+ year‑old whiskeys while preserving the decadent flavor developed through extended aging,” according to a distillery spokesperson. “We re-evaluated Bourye in 2026 to better showcase the elegance and complexity of its 10+ year‑old whiskeys. With the rich, decadent flavor that emerges in whiskey over long maturation, this blend can boldly embrace a higher proof while maintaining balance, depth, and approachability.”
The suggested retail price is $124.99 per 750-ml. bottle.
This follows the recent release of High West Cask Strength.
