Baker’s High-Rye Bourbon Returns for 2025

Baker’s High-Rye 7-Year-Old Single Barrel Bourbon is back for 2025.

This release was made from a bourbon mash bill with more rye grain than the traditional Baker’s recipe.

The liquid is distilled to proof and barreled and aged for a minimum of 7 years. This is meant to pull more caramel, dried fruit and vanilla flavor from the barrel wood, the company reports.

On the nose is charred oak with notes of vanilla, caramel and dried fruit, according to distillery notes. The palate has charred oak and brown sweets with subtle rye spice character, before a finish that contains a hint of baking spice.

Baker’s High-Rye 7-Year-Old Single Barrel Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey is 107 proof with a suggested retail price of $74.99 for a 750-ml. bottle.
