Iced tea brand Halfday is introducing a new limited-edition flavor: Tropical Tea. Crafted for summer, Tropical Tea features a blend of pineapple, passion fruit and guava.
Similar to every flavor in Halfday’s iced tea lineup, Tropical Tea delivers 4g of sugar, 35 calories and 6g of prebiotic fiber from the brand’s GOODDAY Prebiotic Blend – a trio of Cassava Root Fiber, Fructan Fiber and Organic Agave Inulin, according to the brand.
“We’ve built our brand around classic, nostalgic iced teas, but for summer, we wanted to create something a little more adventurous,” said Mike Lombardo, co-founder of Halfday, in a news release. “Tropical Tea is bright, juicy, and fun—something that feels like a mini getaway in a can, without straying from the low sugar, gut-healthy foundation people count on us for.”
“Limited-edition flavors like Tropical Tea give us a chance to explore new, exciting taste profiles while staying true to what matters—making iced tea better for you,” added Kayvon Jahanbakhsh, co-founder and CEO. “It’s a way for us to keep innovating, keep surprising our customers, and have some fun with the category.”
Tropical Tea is available starting today exclusively at Whole Foods Market locations nationwide and on Amazon, according to the brand. At Whole Foods, it’s offered in 4-packs ($7.99) and single cans (2 for $4), while Amazon customers can purchase 12-pack cases for $29.88.
