U.S.-based Oishii Sake is launching the Oishii Sake Spritz, a ready-to-drink canned sake cocktail.
Available for presale online in four flavors – Mango Yuzu, Watermelon Lime, Lychee Lemon and Coconut Lemongrass – the Oishii Sake Spritz is gluten-free, low-calorie, kosher and sweetened with Monk Fruit In The Raw, according to the brand. Each 12-oz can comes in at 6% ABV.
Initial distribution includes New York, Florida, Georgia and California, according to the brand, with national expansion planned for Q3 2025. Suggested retail pricing is $5 per single can and $20 for a variety four-pack, available in select retailers and direct-to-consumer on their website.
“Oishii Sake Spritz answers growing consumer demand for better-for-you ready to drink cocktails with ingredient integrity and flavor complexity. We wanted to really be a differentiator by creating an all natural, ready to drink product,” said Buzzy Sklar, CEO of parent company Kintsugi Sake LLC, in a news release. “We’ve taken everything that makes Oishii a leader in the sake space and evolved it into a turnkey, on-the-go format built for scale. This naturally delicious RTD is a great alternative to what is on the market as it has zero added sugar, and less than 3 grams of carbs.”
