Rosaluna Mezcal just announced the successful closing of its Series A financing round, led by Sacha Lichine, founder of Château d’Esclans and creator of Whispering Angel.
In addition to leading the investment, Mr. Lichine will join Rosaluna’s Board of Directors, according to the company, bringing with him decades of experience in building and scaling global beverage brands.
“Sacha has an incredible track record of building global brands that connect deeply with consumers,” said Freddie Martignetti, co-founder and chairman of Rosaluna, in a news release. “Having him as a partner and board member provides unmatched insight and leadership as we continue to grow Rosaluna.”
Rosaluna also announced a new national partnership with wine and spirits importer Shaw-Ross International Importers, which will expand the brand’s footprint across the United States, according to the company.
