Kim Crawford Rosé is the newest release from this New Zealand-based producer.
Crafted 100% from New Zealand’s Hawke’s Bay merlot grapes, Kim Crawford Rosé is a pale pink hue with fragrant notes of bright berry and tropical fruit, the company says. On the palate this wine is juicy with hints of watermelon, strawberry and melon.
Drinkable as an aperitif, this rosé also pairs well with lighter, warm-weather bites and lighter salads. It is 13% ABV.
Kim Crawford Rosé is available nationwide beginning April 2017 for a suggested retail price of $17.99 per 750-ml. bottle.
The merlot grapes were harvested, destemmed, and crushed direct to press with minimal skin contact, the company says. The clarified juice was cool fermented with yeast strains to retain the primary varietal characters.
