Quintessential, a marketer, importer and distributor of exclusively family-owned fine wines and spirits, just announced the addition of Rutherford Wine Company to its California wholesale portfolio.
Based in Napa Valley’s Rutherford appellation, Rutherford Wine Company is family owned and managed by the Zaninovich family for three generations. The company is a leader in environmentally responsible practices, according to Quintessential, holding the California Sustainable Winegrowing Certification and managing its estate vineyards through a combination of sustainable, organic and fish-friendly farming methods. Their portfolio includes Rutherford Ranch, TORCIA, Scott Family Estate, Predator Wines, California Sessions, Rhiannon, Four Virtues and Round Hill Cellars.
“We are honored to welcome such a respected and iconic Napa Valley wine company into our growing California portfolio,” said Dennis Kreps, co-owner of Quintessential, in a news release. “Rutherford Wine Company embodies the values we look for—multi-generational stewardship, sustainability and an unwavering dedication to quality. This partnership supports our ongoing investment in building a best-in-class California wholesale network.”
“This partnership allows us to continue growing while staying true to who we are as a family business,” added Morgan Zaninovich, general manager. “We’re excited to work with Quintessential to reach more customers across the state who share our passion for world-class wine.”
