Jeptha Creed, a women-owned craft distillery offering a range of spirits, has announced retail expansion to the state of Virginia. Two of their core expressions, the Straight Four-Grain Bourbon and 6-Year Wheated Bourbon, are available now.
“We’re incredibly excited to bring Jeptha Creed bourbon to the great state of Virginia,” said Joyce Nethery, co-owner and master distiller of Jeptha Creed Distillery, in a news release. “This expansion of distribution represents a significant step forward in our mission to grow our presence nationally.“
Jeptha Creed Straight Four Grain Bourbon (SRP: $52.99), the brand’s original 2019 release, is bottled at 50% ABV (100 proof). It features notes of sweet cream, florals, dried fruit and jam, according to the distillery, followed by vanilla, nutmeg, clove and toasted pecans.
Jeptha Creed 6-Year Wheated Bourbon (SRP: $59.99) is bottled at 46.5% ABV (93 proof) and opens with aromas of brown butter, toasted almond and croissant, according to the distillery. It delivers a medium mouthfeel with notes of cinnamon bread, honey glaze, tobacco and a touch of chocolate.
