A major Maryland distributor has relocated.
Chesapeake Beverage Co. (CBC) has signed a lease for a 244,656-square-foot warehouse at 10000 Franklin Square Drive in White Marsh, Maryland.
CBC was formed in 2014 by the Meridian, Mississippi-based Mitchell Distributing. It is the exclusive wholesaler for Anheuser-Busch in Baltimore City and Baltimore County. It is also a distributor for Crown Imports LLC, Diageo-Guinness USA and a variety of craft breweries in Maryland.
CBC will relocate approximately 250 employees from its former location at 7001 Quad Ave. in Rosedale, Maryland, and begin operations at the new facility April 1, 2017.
Paul Danko of Savills Studley represented CBC in the transaction. Tom Gentner, Brian Watts and Brian Siegel of Transwestern represented the building owner, Principal Real Estate Investors, in the transaction.
