Additive-free tequila brand Leyenda 1925 announced its official expansion into the California market. This news follows a highly successful debut in Massachusetts and Texas in the summer of 2025.
“Distributing in California means sharing our culture with a market that truly values origin, legacy, and authenticity,” said Julio, Juan and Montse González, co-founders of Leyenda 1925 Spirits, in a news release. “It’s a place where family, tradition, and pride in our roots are still very much alive. After experiencing an extraordinary response during our launch, we’re excited to bring our brand to California, not just to offer an exceptional tequila, but to share a story that celebrates the identity that shapes us and the spirit that drives us to transcend.”
The California rollout includes availability across key regions such as Los Angeles, San Diego, Pasadena, Glendale and surrounding communities, according to the brand. The California lineup includes the full Leyenda 1925 collection:
- Leyenda 1925 Blanco
- Leyenda 1925 Reposado
- Leyenda 1925 Añejo
Leyenda 1925 has plans for further state expansions throughout 2026, according to the brand. Their tequila portfolio is now available at select retailers, fine dining establishments, bars and clubs throughout California, as well as online.
