Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits (Southern Glazer’s) recently appointed Jamey Bellan to the role of Executive Vice President and General Manager of Texas, effective February 15, 2024.
Bellan, who will report to Matthew Metz, President, Central Region, will be responsible for leading and executing the Company’s strategic business initiatives in the state. Bellan replaces Metz, who was recently promoted to his current role, the company states.
“Jamey is a highly engaged and results-oriented leader who champions an inclusive approach,” said Metz in a news release. “Trusted and committed to fostering diversity and talent, he is highly customer focused, striving for excellence in execution. I’m confident that Jamey will make a significant impact in his new position.”
Bellan launched his 22-year career in the beverage alcohol industry as a sales consultant at Southern Glazer’s in Texas. After gaining experience in both distributor and supplier roles, he navigated multiple markets with increasing responsibilities within Southern Glazer’s, the company states. In his recent role as Vice President, General Sales Manager for Texas, Bellan showcased his leadership and strategic prowess. He holds a WSET II Wine and Spirits among other industry accreditations.
