Altamura Distilleries, producer of vodka distilled entirely from 100% Altamura durum wheat, recently announced an expansion of its U.S. footprint with the appointment of new distribution partners across five states. The brand will also be expanding retail availability at 33 Total Wine & More locations across New York, New Jersey, Colorado, Tennessee, Florida and Texas from April 2026.
The five new distribution states include Texas, Illinois, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Rhode Island, according to the distillery. In Texas, distribution will be managed by Virtuoso Wine & Spirits. In Illinois, the brand will be distributed by By The Glass Imports. Across Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Rhode Island, distribution will be handled by Baystate Wine & Spirits.
Alongside the new distribution appointments, Altamura Distilleries Vodka is expected to be available at 33 Total Wine & More locations across six states.
Frank Grillo, co-founder and managing director of Altamura Distilleries, said in a news release, “Our goal from the beginning was to create a vodka that could only come from Puglia, one that reflects the land, the wheat and the heritage of the region. Seeing Altamura Distilleries Vodka reach drinkers across 25 U.S. states and through some of the country’s best retail and on premise accounts is an incredibly proud moment for us. We are excited to introduce more American consumers to a vodka that carries the story and flavor of southern Italy.”
