Napa Valley wine company 689 Cellars is entering into a new distribution partnership with Breakthru Beverage Group in Florida.
Founded by industry veterans Curtis McBride and Kent Rasmussen, 689 Cellars originally made its mark as an export-first winery, according to the company. In recent years, 689 Cellars has gained strong momentum across the U.S.
“Florida represents a major growth opportunity for us,” said Curtis McBride, co-founder of 689 Cellars, in a news release. “We’re thrilled to be partnering with Breakthru Beverage Group — a team that brings deep market knowledge and a shared vision for building sustainable, long-term brand success.”
In addition to Florida, select wines from the 689 Cellars portfolio are distributed by Breakthru Beverage Group in Delaware, Maryland, South Carolina, Pennsylvania and Virginia, according to the company.
Breakthru will represent a curated selection of 689 Cellars’ wines, including top-performing SKUs such as Submission, Six Eight Nine and Killer Drop.
