Ingredients

  • 2 oz. Catedral Espadin mezcal
  • 1 ½ oz. Lime juice
  • 1 ¼ oz. Hot honey*

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients in a shaker.
  • Add ice and shake vigorously for 10-15 seconds.
  • Strain into glass for serving over fresh ice.
  • Garnish with fresh jalapeno ring.

Notes

* For Hot honey: Char 2 jalapenos directly over flame (oven broiler will work as well). Let cool, then slice into rings. Combine 5 oz. honey and 5 oz. water and mix well, then add the jalapenos. Let sit for at least 3 hours before straining out the jalapenos.
