Ready-to-drink sparkling margarita brand SipMARGS is expanding into New Jersey in partnership with Fedway Associates, Inc., marking the 7th state where the margarita RTD is being distributed.
SipMARGS comes in a variety of five flavors: Classic, Mango, Coconut, Mezcal and Spicy – all made with tequila blanco from Jalisco, Mexico. Each 12 oz can has a 5% ABV, contains 130 calories and 6 grams of sugar, according to the brand. They are available in 4-packs (all flavors) for $10.99 and variety 8-packs (Classic, Mango, Coconut and Spicy) for $18.99.
This distribution news comes on the heals of a relaunch in March with New Jersey-born social media powerhouse Alix Earle joining as an investor and brand partner. The relaunch was backed by a $3 million investment led by Palm Tree Crew with Earle as the largest individual investor, according to the brand.
“We’re thrilled to bring SipMARGS to New Jersey!” said Justin Nabozna, CEO of SipMARGS, in a news release. “Following such an exciting month with our relaunch last month, we heard from our consumers and they wanted SipMARGS in New Jersey. Thanks to the team at Fedway Associates, Inc., everyone will be able to enjoy our low-calorie, low-sugar sparkling margaritas in New Jersey. We look forward to creating some exciting, in-person activations by the shore this summer.”
SipMARGS is now available throughout New Jersey, Florida, New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Virginia and Michigan. It’s also available for purchase online with shipping to 38 states at sipmargs.com.
