In partnership with Provost Farm, a Louisiana-based non-profit that honors the legacy of Black sugarcane farmers in South Louisiana, Oxbow Rum produced a limited-edition Rhum Louisiane, with 100% of the proceeds donated to the farm. This release is now available at select retailers in New Orleans.
The rhum was crafted from Provost Farm-grown sugarcane, according to the distillery. The cane juice was transported to Oxbow’s Baton Rouge distillery for processing and distillation, with the cane being burned just before harvest.
Oxbow Rum’s limited-edition Rhum Louisiane retails for $36 per 750-ml. bottle and comes in at 45% ABV.
