Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits (Southern Glazer’s) announced the promotion of Jeri Rippon to Senior Vice President, General Manager of New York, effective immediately. In this role, Rippon will oversee strategic operations and commercial execution across the New York market, reporting to Marty Crane, Executive Vice President, Subregional General Manager, New York and Southern Glazer’s Beverage Company of Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
Since joining Southern Glazer’s in 2020, Rippon has demonstrated exceptional leadership, according to Southern Glazer’s, most recently serving as General Manager, Vice President, Sapphire Division of New York. Prior to that, she led the Atlantic Division in the New York market, driving business growth and operational excellence.
“Jeri’s deep understanding of the beverage industry, coupled with her proven leadership and ability to drive results, makes her the ideal candidate to lead our New York operations,” said Crane in a news release. “Her strategic vision and commitment to excellence will be instrumental in advancing our business in this key market. I’m excited to see all that she accomplishes in her new role.”
Jeri Rippon’s Years of Experience
Before her tenure at Southern Glazer’s, Rippon held leadership roles across the beverage industry, according to Southern Glazer’s, including serving as President of Wright Beverage Distributing, where she played a pivotal role in shaping the company’s strategic direction. She also held key positions at Molson Coors, including General Manager for New York, Chain Director for the Northeast and Director of Marketing. Additionally, Rippon gained experience at Manhattan Beer Distributors and Gallo Sales Company, further solidifying her expertise in the industry.
