Santa Teresa 1796 Rum Reveals New Visual Identity

Santa Teresa 1796 has unveiled a refreshed look, debuting this month, meant to captures the brand’s distilling process and Venezuelan heritage.

While the exterior has been reimagined, the bottle continues to hold the same liquid.

The new packaging features a redesigned canister that emphasizes Santa Teresa 1796’s production process, complete a top adorned with their signature rosette design. The bottle design details 225 years of history and tradition, including an updated logo, the family’s signature and distinctive drip seal, the company says.

Santa Teresa 1796 is made with a solera method, a traditional aging process adopted from Spanish Sherry producers. This technique is meant to impart a smoothness and balance to the rum, ensuring every bottle contains a trace of the original Ron Madre, the foundation of Santa Teresa 1796.
