7 Shining Sparkling Cocktails

The holiday season is all about the sparkle, and bubbly drinks are a great way to fire up any festivities. Here are 7 recipes we like for this year.

Persimmon-ious

Course Drinks
Keyword elderflower liqueur, lemon, persimmon, Simple syrup, sparkling wine, vodka

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ oz. Origen vodka
  • 1 oz. St. Germain elderflower liqueur
  • 1 oz. Fresh lemon juice
  • 1 oz. Simple syrup
  • ½ oz. diced Persimmon
  • Champagne or sparkling wine

Instructions

  • Place persimmon and syrup in a cocktail shaker and muddle well.
  • Add the remaining ingredients and ice and shake until well chilled.
  • Strain into flute or large coupe glass.
  • Top with Champagne or sparkling wine.
  • Garnish with fresh mint.

Cranberry Spritz

Course Drinks
Keyword Aperol, apple brandy, cranberry, prosecco

Ingredients

  • 13 ½ oz. Apple brandy
  • 18 oz. Aperol
  • 18 oz. Cranberry juice
  • 2 bottles of Prosecco

Instructions

  • In a ring mold with water, freeze 1 lb. of cranberries and six sprigs of rosemary.
  • Mix all ingredients in a large bowl or beverage dispenser.
  • Pop the frozen ring on top 20 minutes before serving.

Winter Spritz

Course Drinks
Keyword cinnamon bitters, elderflower liqueur, sparkling wine, white cranberry juice

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ oz. St. Germain elderflower liqueur
  • 3 oz. White cranberry juice
  • 2 oz. Sparkling wine
  • 2 dashes Cinnamon bitters

Instructions

  • Build cocktail in a wine glass with ice.
  • Garnish with frozen cranberries and a sprig of rosemary.

Midnight Kiss

Course Drinks
Keyword apple cider, Champagne, Triple sec, whiskey

Ingredients

  • 1 part Hudson Whiskey Bright Lights Big Bourbon
  • ½ part Triple sec
  • 2 parts Apple cider
  • 3 parts Chilled Champagne

Instructions

  • Mix the whiskey, triple sec and cider in a flute.
  • Top with chilled Champagne.
  • Garnish with apple slice.

Heavy Handed

Course Drinks
Keyword absinthe, Campari, Carpano Antica vermouth, chocolate bitters, lambrusco

Ingredients

  • 1 oz. Antica Formula
  • 1 oz. Campari
  • 3 dashes Chocolate bitters
  • 3 dashes Absinthe
  • 3 oz. Lambrusco

Instructions

  • Build in a bodega glass.
  • Top with lambrusco and add cracked ice.
  • Stir three times.
  • Garnish with a single orange slice.

Sparkling Holiday Punch

Course Drinks
Keyword cranberry, Empress gin, lime, orange liqueur, prosecco

Ingredients

  • 12 oz. Empress 1908 Indigo gin
  • 4 oz. Orange liqueur
  • 12 oz. Cranberry juice
  • 6 oz. Lime juice
  • Prosecco

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients except prosecco to a pitcher or punch bowl.
  • Add ice and stir until chilled.
  • Serve over ice and top each serving with prosecco.
  • Garnish with orange slices and cranberries.

Midnight Pear-secco

Course Drinks
Keyword pear syrup, sparkling wine, vodka

Ingredients

  • 2 parts Reyka vodka
  • 1 part Pear syrup
  • 2 parts Prosecco or sparkling wine

Instructions

  • Add vodka, pear syrup, and edible dust to a shaker.
  • Shake to combine and strain into a coupe or flute.
  • Top with chilled prosecco or sparkling wine.
  • Garnish with Pear slices and Edible gold dust.
