Orphan Barrel Woven Honor 18YO Scotch

The latest release from Diageo’s Orphan Barrel Whiskey Co. is Woven Honor Single Malt Scotch Whisky Aged 18 Years.

This liquid comes from the Scottish Highlands, specifically Linkwood Distillery. Founded in 1821, Linkwood Distillery sits on the outskirts of Elgin.

The artwork features a spider constructing its web, representing how this whisky “was crafted with the same precision, harmoniously blending nature’s finest elements with traditional techniques,” the company says.

This singly malt aged more than 18 years in American Oak barrels. The result is grassy and floral notes, and fruit including green apple and lemon zest alongside vanilla and honeycomb.

“Woven Honor is an exceptional Single Malt for those who treasure rare spirits and seek to capture a piece of whisky history,” says Diageo whisky specialist Peter Milne. “The liquid is a testament that true craftsmanship and quality are achieved through patience and the natural course of creation, just as the bottle’s label design symbolizes.”

This limited-edition bottle is available at retailers nationwide with a suggested retail price of $185 for 750-ml. bottle.

Woven Honor can also be purchased on ReserveBar and TheBar.com, where shipping and delivery options are available.

This follows the recent release of Orphan Barrel Indigo’s Hour Straight Bourbon Whiskey Aged 18 Years.
