Hibiscus Sparkler

This take on a Margarita gets a pop of color from hibiscus and spice from a Tajin rim.

Hibiscus Sparkler

Ingredients

  • 2 oz. Lalo tequila
  • ¾ oz. Lime juice
  • ¾ oz. Hibiscus-infused agave syrup*
  • Tajin seasoning

Instructions

  • Rim a rocks glass with Tajin seasoning and fill with ice.
  • Combine all ingredients in an ice-filled shaker tin.
  • Shake well, and strain into rimmed rocks glass.
  • Garnish with a hibiscus flower and a lime wheel.

Notes

*For hibiscus agave syrup:
Combine 1 cup of agave nectar, 1 cup of water, and ½ cup of hibiscus flowers in a saucepan. Simmer, then cool and strain.
