Cruz Garcia’s Real Sangria, a top-selling imported sangria brand from Spain, has launched its third expression: Real Sangria Peach.
This new expression is 8% ABV, and can be enjoyed as a ready-to-drink or mixed into cocktails.
“Real Sangria Peach will be available to U.S. consumers not only on the sangria shelf, but also on the sweet wines shelf, a new point-of-differentiation for our brand,” says Ricardo Febres, VP, Brand Management for Shaw-Ross International Importers. “Given the rise of an increased focus on health and wellness, drinkers everywhere are turning to lower-alcohol cocktail alternatives. Consumers are seeking lighter mixed drinks and new flavor combinations.”
This is a slightly sweet wine with hints of a sweet peach aroma and flavor, the company reports. Notes of fruit and citrus help give the peach sangria a round finish.
This latest release joins Cruz Garcia’s other Red and White Spanish sangrias on shelves nationally at both wine and spirits retailers. It’s available through Shaw-Ross for a suggested retail price of $8.99 per 750-ml. bottle.
