Rock n’ Roll Hall of Famer and celebrity spirits trailblazer Sammy Hagar has debuted a refreshed look and a new formula for the Kola Spiced edition of his Sammy’s Beach Bar Rum.
In partnership with rockstar Rick Springfield, Sammy’s Beach Bar Rum is made in Puerto Rico. With an ABV of 35%, Kola Spiced is a proprietary spice blend that includes kola nut extract, which gives the rum hints of vanilla and coffee, the company says.
Kola Spiced is the second rum in Hagar’s portfolio to undergo a branding makeover and slight enhancements for flavor this year, joining the Platinum Rum.
Sammy’s Beach Bar Rum is Hagar and Springfield’s second collaboration together. The two rockers first collaborated in 1981 when Hagar penned “I’ve Done Everything for You,” which became a breakout hit for Springfield. Springfield is featuring Sammy’s Beach Bar Rums on his current tour.
Sammy’s Beach Bar Rum is available for purchase nationwide.
