Fall Cocktails Perfect For Thanksgiving 2022

Thanksgiving may be all about the turkey and copious side dishes, but don’t forget about the cocktails. A surefire way to get the celebration of thanks started is by offering a delicious festive seasonal cocktail as soon as guests arrive. Here are eight we like for 2022. Balsamic Fig Fizz

Course Drinks
Keyword balsamic vinegar, Champagne, fig, rosemary, Scotch

Ingredients

  • 1 part The Glenlivet Founder’s Reserve Scotch infused with rosemary*
  • 3 parts G.H. Mumm Grand Cordon Brut Champagne
  • ½ part Balsamic vinegar
  • ¾ parts Fig jam syrup**

Pumpkin Cider

Course Drinks
Keyword apple cider, ginger beer, lemon, pumpkin, vodka

Ingredients

  • 2 parts New Amsterdam vodka
  • ½ part Lemon sour
  • ½ part REAL pumpkin syrup
  • Fill with equal parts apple cider and ginger beer to taste

Instructions

  • Add ingredients into a block ice-filled punch bowl.
  • Stir together to combine/chill.
  • Garnish with blood orange slices and apple slices.

Autumn Breeze

Course Drinks
Keyword bacanora, cloudy apple juice, honey, lemon, vermouth

Ingredients

  • 1 ⅓ oz. Kilinga Bacanora Blanco
  • ½ oz. Vermouth
  • 1 ⅓ oz. Apple juice
  • ½ oz. Lemon juice
  • ¾ oz. Honey

Instructions

  • Combine ingredients in a mixing tin and shake.
  • Strain into a coupe glass.
  • Garnish with dehydrated citrus.

Cranberry Strand

Course Drinks
Keyword cranberry, lime, mezcal

Ingredients

  • Cranberry Strand
  • 2 oz. Montelobos Espadín mezcal
  • 1 oz. Cranberry syrup Stir together 1 part unsweetened cranberry juice with 1 part fine sugar by weight
  • ¾ oz. Fresh lime juice

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients in a tin.
  • Add ice and shake.
  • Strain over fresh ice in a double rocks glass.
  • Garnish with a cranberry on a pick.

Rhum Butter Cider

Course Drinks
Keyword apple cider, butterscotch liqueur, orange liqueur, rum

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ oz. Rhum Barbancourt 5 Star
  • 1 oz. Orange liqueur
  • 1 oz. Butterscotch liqueur
  • 4 oz. Hot apple cider

Instructions

  • Pour the first three ingredients in a mug
  • Add the hot cider.
  • Garnish with a cinnamon stick and a star anise

Sage The Date

Course Drinks
Keyword lemon, Peach nectar, sage, vodka

Ingredients

  • 2 oz. Humboldt organic vodka
  • ½ oz. Fresh organic lemon juice
  • 1 oz. Peach purée
  • 1 oz. Sage simple syrup*

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients in a tin.
  • Add ice and shake.
  • Strain into a coupe glass.
  • Garnish with a lemon twist.

Notes

*For Sage simple: In small pan, combine 1 cup of water and 1 cup of sugar. Bring to a simmer, and cook until sugar has dissolved completely. Add 8-10 sage leaves and simmer for 1 minute. Remove from heat and allow leaves to steep for 30 minutes to 1 hour. Strain leaves after cooled.

Autumn Sour

Course Drinks
Keyword Apple cider vinegar, bourbon, Crop Meyer lemon vodka, honey, rosemary

Ingredients

  • 2 parts Basil Hayden bourbon
  • 1 part Fresh lemon
  • ¾ part Honey
  • 2 dashes of Apple cider vinegar
  • 1 dash Angostura bitters
  • 1 sprig of Charred rosemary

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice.
  • Shake vigorously and strain into a rocks glass.
  • Serve neat or on the rocks.
  • Garnish with a sprig of charred rosemary.

Warm & Cozy

Course Drinks
Keyword honey, lemon, Milk oolong tea, pecan syrup, vodka

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ oz. Ketel One vodka
  • ½ oz. Spiced honey syrup
  • 1 tsp. Pecan syrup*
  • ¼ oz. Lemon juice
  • 2 dashes Chocolate bitters
  • 3 oz. Milk oolong tea

Instructions

  • Steep milk oolong tea in boiled water for 3 minutes.
  • Add first five ingredients to mug, top with tea and stir.
  • Garnish with cinnamon stick and pinch of nutmeg.
