London’s Connaught Bar Crowned World’s Best

The 13^th list of The World’s 50 Best Bars, sponsored by Perrier, was announced Dec. 7 in London. The 2021 edition of the annual ranking features bars from 17 countries, with London’s Connaught Bar taking the top spot,

Connaught Bar picked up The World’s Best Bar and The Best Bar in Europe titles. The Cubist-inspired bar, led by director of mixology Agostino Perrone with head mixologist Giorgio Bargiani and bar manager Maura Milia, is known for its unique Martini trolley, where bartenders give a personalized drinks experience to guests.

London’s Tayēr + Elementary is No. 2 on the 2021 Best Bars list, while Kwānt is No. 31. Spain leads Europe with four bars on the list. Mexico City also has four bars, including Licorería Limantour, The Best Bar in North America.

New York boasts three bars on the global ranking, with Katana Kitten moving up six spots to No. 10, Dante at No. 30 and Attaboy at No. 34. Attaboy also won the Rémy Martin Legend of The List for its continued success in the ranking. Miami re-joins the line-up this year with Café La Trova, a new entry at No. 28. Here’s the full list.
