Fruity and Floral Gin Cocktails

We love gin any time of the year, but many people still think of it as a summer drink. There’s nothing like a crisp Gin and Tonic on summer day, but the different styles of gin and botanicals typically used in the spirit work well in a number of unique, fresh cocktails. Here are a few that we like.

Jungle Cat

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ oz. Tom Cat gin
  • ¾ oz. Campari
  • 1 ½ oz. Fresh pineapple juice
  • ½ oz. Fresh lime juice
  • ½ oz. Dark robust Vermont maple syrup

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker and shake.
  • Strain into a rocks glass with pebble ice.
  • Garnish with a Campari-soaked dehydrated pineapple.

Yellow Dreams

Course Drinks
Keyword Bombay Sapphire gin, Chamomile, lemon, St. Germain elderflower liqueur

Ingredients

  • 2 oz. Chamomile water
  • 1 ½ oz. Bombay Sapphire gin
  • ½ oz. St. Germain elderflower liqueur
  • ¾ oz. Fresh lemon juice
  • ½ oz. Cane sugar syrup

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients and shake hard.
  • Strain over fresh ice into a Collins glass and top with Mountaine Honeysuckle sparkling water.
  • Garnish with fresh chamomile buds.

Moon On The Water

Course Drinks
Keyword gin, lime, Roku gin, sake

Ingredients

  • 2 oz. Roku gin
  • ¾ oz. Rosemary simple syrup*
  • ¾ oz. Cold-pressed lime juice
  • ¾ oz. Fukucho Junmai Ginjo sake

Instructions

  • Combine ingredients and shake.
  • Strain into a cocktail glass.
  • Garnish with a sprig of rosemary.

Notes

*For Rosemary simple syrup: Combine 1 cup of sugar, 1 cup of water and about ¼ cup of rosemary leaves. In a saucepan, bring to a boil. Simmer while stirring until sugar dissolves. Let cool and strain into a jar.

Straw-Peary Beret

Course Drinks
Keyword Champagne, gin, Hibiscus strawberry syrup, lemon, pear

Ingredients

  • 2 oz. Gin
  • 3 oz. Pear juice
  • 1 oz. Hibiscus strawberry syrup
  • ½ oz. Lemon juice
  • 3 dashes Hella Co. orange bitters
  • Champagne

Instructions

  • Combine ingredients, except Champagne, in a cocktail shaker.
  • Shake and pour in a wine glass over ice.
  • Top with Champagne.

Notes

For the Hibiscus strawberry syrup: Stir 1 oz. of The Perfect Purée Strawberry Puree, thawed, with 4 oz. hibiscus tea.

Golden Sunset

Course Drinks
Keyword gin, Jaisalmer India Craft Gin, lime, pineapple, tumeric

Ingredients

  • ½ oz. Fresh lime juice
  • 1 oz. Turmeric and pineapple syrup*
  • 1 ½ oz. Jaisalmer India Craft Gin

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients in a shaker tin.
  • Add ice and shake hard.
  • Double strain into a rocks glass.
  • Add ice and garnish with a dried pineapple ring or a pineapple leaf.

Notes

For Turmeric and pineapple syrup:
Combine 8 oz. cold pressed pineapple juice and 1 cup sugar.
Add ½ tsp. Burlap & Barrel New Harvest turmeric.

Strawberry Moon Spritz

Course Drinks
Keyword gin, Hendrick’s Lunar gin, lemon, Maraschino liqueur

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ part Hendrick’s Lunar gin
  • ½ part Maraschino liqueur
  • ½ part Lemon juice
  • Top with club soda

Instructions

  • Build in a wine glass over ice.
  • Lightly churn to mix ingredients.
  • Garnish with strawberry slices and cucumber slices.

Lively White Negroni

Course Drinks
Keyword gin, Suze, vermouth

Ingredients

  • 1 oz. Regal Rogue Lively White Australian vermouth
  • 1 oz. Gin
  • 1 oz. Suze gentian liqueur

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass
  • Add ice and stir for about 30 seconds.
  • Serve over ice in a rocks glass.
  • Garnish with a lemon twist.
