Mexican beer brand Dos Equis is “keeping it interesante” on Cinco de Mayo weekend, betting big on “Horse Dos,” the horse in the number-two spot, during the Kentucky Derby on Saturday. And if the horse in the number-two stall wins, fans in select states can celebrate with a free beer on Cinco de Mayo, courtesy of Dos Equis.
The “Run for the Doses” promotion is available on Cinco de Mayo at participating Cabo Flats, La Cerveceria De Barrio, Bonefish Mac, Tequila Sunrise Bombshells and McIntyre’s in Houston and Miami. The beer brand is asking fans to tweet their support for Horse Dos to @DosEquis; the Dos Equis team will be resharing the best posts.
