Labatt Blue has announced the release of its new Labatt Blue Citra beer.
The hoppy session lager starts with a bright hop aroma, the company says, followed by a juicy, citrusy hop flavor, before ending with a crisp and clean finish.
“We wanted to brew a hoppy beer that was also refreshing and extremely drinkable. This beer has the flavor and aroma we love from today’s IPAs while being light and drinkable enough for any occasion,” says Rob Hertenstein, brand manager for Labatt Blue. “We see Blue Citra as the perfect complement to our flagship beers Blue and Blue Light.”
Brewed with Citra and Mosaic hops and Pale Malt, Labatt Blue Citra clocks in at 4.7% ABV, the same as Labatt Blue, and is line priced with the rest of the Labatt Family.
Labatt Blue Citra is currently available in 12-oz., 16-oz. and 24-oz. cans.
